Gainax regained
It's been a long while since Gainax's last release, but at
last they're back. The mad otaku studio behind GunBuster and
Wings of Honeamise are all set to premiere
New Century Evangelion, their new anime set in 2021.
Neo Tokyo is already too crowded, and so a third city (yep,
they're trying to wind up Otomo) is under construction in
nearby Shizuoka. But the city is naturally under threat from
a mysterious organisation called the Apostles, and only a
young girl and her giant robot can stop them!
Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's manga version is already running in
Shonen Ace magazine, and with Hideaki Anno at the helm, the
gang's all here with what promises to be a manga resurrection.
